Sunset bathes the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute in pastel hues. Neither land nor water, but shimmering somewhere in between, the city of Venice lifts like a mirage from a lagoon at the head of the Adriatic.
I’ve planned a number of trips and never been able to go. The images I found planning these trips stuck with me, and created a longing. This image of Gondolas in Venice Italy became part of the inspiration behind the Venice Evening clutch.
